OUR COMMUNITY

Whitehall is located at the northern end of Lake Champlain. It is a town full of history and beauty. In 1776, the first American Naval Fleet was built here and the town is known as the Birthplace of the United States Navy. The Champlain canal attracts boaters and tourists to the area. There are many points of interest including Skene Manor, Skenesborough Museum, Lock 12, and the Skenesborough picnic park and Riverside Park. the parks offer a Summer Festival with local vendors, music and fireworks. The town also has a health center, restaurants with waterfront lodging, and several churches and historic buildings.
